Bio & Career

I completed my Undergraduate Studies in Psychology at the University of Crete. I then followed up with a Masters Degree in Health Psychology at City University and a Masters Degree in Psychoanalysis at Middlesex University in London.

I attended trainings of professional development in Lacanian Psychoanalysis at the Centre For Freudian Analysis and Research and in Systemic Family Therapy at Chiron Training in London.

I hold a Licence to Practice Psychology and I am also an accredited Psychologist by the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA).

I have been professionally active in the field of Mental Health for the past 19 years.

I have worked privately offering Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy to adults, couples and families following the psychoanalytic and systemic therapy principles. 

In addition, I have help positions in the Mental Health System. I have been the General Manager and a Register Manager with the Care Quality Commission for lime Tree Gardens, the crisis Liaison Lead and the Clinical Deputy Manager for Highbury Grove Crisis House, the Manager for the Hopewell House Adults' Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit. I have also worked as the Psychosocial Interventions Co-ordinator  for the Mental Health Charity Mind in Barnet and i have been the leading facilitator psychotherapist for the group interventions for individuals diagnosed with Obsession Compulsions Disorders for Edgware Hospital.
